Stereoselective Access to Trifunctionalized Z‐Allylic Alcohols via Radical‐Mediated 1,4‐Aryl Migration
1 Introduction The allylic alcohol structural motif is extensively found in a wide range of natural products and pharmaceutical molecules (Scheme 1A) [1]. Owing to its diverse and notable reactivity, allylic alcohol derivatives also serve as versatile synthetic building blocks for the construction of complex molecular architectures, including drugs, agrochemicals, and functional polymers [2-4].
Homologative Radical 1,3‐Dicarbofunctionalization of Unactivated Alkenes Enabled by Sequential Functional Group Migrations
Despite significant advances in conventional radical-mediated 1,2-difunctionalization of alkenes over the past decade, homologative 1,3-difunctionalization remains largely underdeveloped. Herein, we report a novel photoinduced homologative 1,3-dicarbofunctionalization of unactivated alkenes via one-carbon chain elongation, achieved through sequential functional group migrations.
Asymmetric Functionalization Harnessing Radical‐Mediated Functional‐Group Migration
Along with the renaissance of radical chemistry, the past decade has witnessed rapid development in radical-mediated rearrangement reactions. A wide diversity of radical approaches harnessing functional-group migration (FGM) have been devised to enhance both synthetic efficiency and molecular complexity. However, the application of FGM reactions to construct stereogenic centers remains underexplored owing to the inherent challenges of asymmetric radical reactions.
Intramolecularly remote functional group migration reactions involving free radicals
Intramolecularly remote functional group migration reactions involving free radicals The application of rearrangement reactions offers opportunities for the efficient construction of complex molecules that are challenging to obtain through conventional synthetic methods. However, the development of radical-mediated rearrangements has lagged far behind ionic-type rearrangements, due to the uncontrollability of radical species.

Three-component coupling reaction of white phosphorus, alcohols and diaryl disulfides: a chlorine-free avenue for accessing phosphorothioates
Three-component coupling reaction of white phosphorus, alcohols and diaryl disulfides: a chlorine-free avenue for accessing phosphorothioates† Synthesis of valuable compounds directly from small and simple molecules is an area of great interest in chemical research. However, the preparation of most organophosphorus compounds from white phosphorus currently relies on inefficient, stepwise procedures that result in significant environmental pollution and poor atom economy.

Metal-free visible-light-induced phosphorylation of unactivated alkyl iodides with white phosphorus as the P-atom source
Metal-free visible-light-induced phosphorylation of unactivated alkyl iodides with white phosphorus as the P-atom source Fushan Chen, Jialiang Peng, Yue Ying, Yinwei Cao, Pengxiang Xu, Guo Tang and Yufen Zhao Abstract The development of practical and mild catalytic method for the direct transformation of white phosphorus into value-added organophosphorus compounds, without the hazardous chlorination step, represents an important advancement in the field of organic synthesis.
Decarboxylative Selective Phosphorylation of Aliphatic Acids: A Transition‐Metal‐ and Photocatalyst‐Free Avenue to Dialkyl and Trialkyl Phosphine Oxides from White Phosphorus
Abstract Functionalization of white phosphorus (P4) with N-hydroxyphthalimide esters to synthesize dialkylphosphines and trialkylphosphines under transition-metal- and photocatalyst-free conditions is presented. The oxidation products can be isolated in high yield via the air oxidation of alkylated phosphines. Abstract Developing practical and mild strategies for the direct functionalization of white phosphorus (P4) without chlorination is an appealing but formidable challenge.
Rhodium Catalysts with Cofactor Mimics for Biomimetic Reduction of C=N Bonds
Rhodium Catalysts with Cofactor Mimics for Biomimetic Reduction of C=N Bonds A strategy based on the cooperation between metal and bonded cofactor mimics was applied to the transfer hydrogenation of C=N bonds. We designed and synthesized a rhodium complex containing 1,3-dimethylbenzoimidazole moiety which was able to transfer hydride from rhodium center to imine substrates in a biomimetic way.
