A girl was asleep in a room at a hospital in Los Angeles, a place she’d been in and out of for nearly three years. Her parents recall that, as they watched over her one day, a man walked in and said, “I’m looking for Meryland Gonzalez. I want to pray for her, with your permission.” Her parents agreed, held each other’s hands, and closed their eyes. When they opened them again, the man was gone.
