Writing for my current publication, MotorBiscuit.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
I have! It's been a while since I have, and I like the "clicky-clacky" feeling of the keys.
How is social media changing news?
Social media allows news to travel quickly but it also allows new perspectives or sides to arise quickly.
What's the funniest news-related #hashtag you've seen?
obviously because it's my last name — I'm not related to the Florida governor though!
What's your favorite social network?
Tik Tok! It's so much fun to get to interact with other users.
Who do you wish followed you?
Unrealistically? Christian Von Koenigsegg. He is my automotive hero and his work, as well as his life story, is inspiring.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
My high school didn't have a newspaper, but I'm not sure if I would have joined the team if we had one.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I wrote a story on the iconic road trip to Key West. The story writing was emotional for me and I was surprised that people liked it.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
The best way to learn is by taking in every bit of criticism and feedback you receive and working to better yourself, even if its hard
What's your favorite drink?
I really love Dr. Pepper, but I only drink it as an occasional treat.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
In the garage working on my car with my fiance, or at a car show checking out cool builds and well-maintained classic cars.
