Have you ever used a typewriter?

Never, but I fawn over them in vintage stores. My friends or family usually have to pull me away.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

My high school, unfortunately, did not have a newspaper. However, I did work on our video-broadcast morning announcements.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Write, write, write. You have nothing to edit if you don't get something down on paper.

When's the best time to pitch you?

Reach out anytime! I will let you know if I'm too busy or otherwise unavailable.

What's your favorite drink?

In the morning, or when I write: a rooibos tea with milk and raw sugar. When I'm sick: a rooibos tea with honey and lemon.
