Brandon Smith a wide-receiver from Lake Cormorant Mississippi has also been a huge contributor to the Hawkeyes offense. Mekhi Sargent is averaging 55 rushing yards-per-game with a total of four touchdowns this season.

Balderrama-Trudell has nearly 20 years of experience as a graduate student and staff member at UW-Madison, including two years as a special assistant to the dean of students, an MSC email said.
"Just another football game": The mindset as Badgers head away from home for the first time - The Daily Cardinal
Whether it needed to be humbled or not, Wisconsin received a harsh wakeup call in their 24-21 loss to a then-unranked BYU team that was faster, smarter and stronger last Saturday in Madison. The Badgers will get to answer that call with their first road trip of the season, as they open their conference schedule against the Iowa Hawkeyes under the lights at Kinnick Stadium in the battle for the Heartland Trophy and a head start in the race for the Big Ten West.

Dane County Executive Joe Parisi launched a new initiative Friday allowing residents to voice their opinions on gun reform in light of the recent school shooting in Parkland, Fla. The website allows people to sign a petition that requests the Wisconsin Legislature call a special session to pass what the site calls “common sense reforms.” It also asks Speaker Paul Ryan to do the same with Congress.
A new survey shows UW-Madison students are happy. But the Campus Climate Survey tells a different story
UW-Madison seniors reported having less interactions with students of backgrounds different from their own compared to seniors at peer institutions, according to the 2017 National Survey of Student Engagement. This data comes after recent debates over race and inclusivity on campus following the release of the 2017 AAU campus climate survey.
Current UW outside linebackers strive to emulate former Badger greats
This past weekend, T.J. Watt recorded two sacks, seven tackles and an interception. In the same game, Joe Schobert recorded nine combined tackles before Jonathan Casillas had two solo tackles of his own later that night. More than just a game: Tindal, Dixon overcome extreme odds to earn degrees
In Derrick Tindal’s freshman year at Madison, 1,500 miles away from his Fort Lauderdale home, the defensive back played in 12 games and made two starts, one at safety and one at nickelback, and accumulated 10 tackles. It wasn’t a bad start for a first-year Badger. A lot of freshmen don’t even come close to seeing the field as much as Tindal did in 2014. But what’s more impressive is that he compiled these numbers while going through a tragedy no teenager should have to endure.
