All The Novels I Haven't Written
I've written before about how I've given up on writing fiction. The reasons are complex, but largely to do with the fact that writing fiction - at least, the kind of fiction I gravitated towards writing - required me to delve into what I knew about what made people - especially damaged people - tick. Sydney Writers' Festival - Women and Their Bodies
In a headline Festival event, an all-star line-up of women read and perform unflinching reflections about the body in all its complexities and intricacies. They will mediate on pain, illness, addiction, prejudice, trauma and myths, while weaving in aspects of recovery, self-determination, catharsis and celebration.
