Geoff Edgers is on staff at The Washington Post, where he is the national arts reporter. Before that, Edgers served as a staff arts and culture reporter at The Boston Globe and contributed to GQ, Spin, Salon, and Wired. Edgers has starred in and produced the PBS documentary "Do It Again," a film about his quest to reunite the rock band, the Kinks, and hosted and starred in the Travel Channel series, "Edge of America." He co-directed the 2014 television documentary, 5 Runners, which followed a group of runners who were crossing the finish line at the Boston Marathon when the first bomb exploded. Edgers has also written children's books on The Beatles, Elvis Presley and Stan Lee.
Edgers lives in Concord, MA. with his wife, Carlene Hempel, a writer and journalism instructor, and their two children, Lila and Cal.
