Sitting in the grandstand hearing the boos, hearing the howls, what would you do? This is not a question directed at any individual. It is a question directed to the people of Australia. Like the majority of young Australians, I go to school every day to learn and do my job as a student. Likewise, my parents go to work and do their job every day. So why do some sports men and women, when they go and do their job, get booed and abused?

In November 2020, NHSE published a document entitled ‘Next Steps to Building Strong and Effective Integrated Care systems across England’. Its focus was on making ICS intentions, aims and vision a reality, something I absolutely applaud. The LGA and CIPFA have subsequently critiqued the document, both commenting that the paper (and NHSE’s approach in general) is too health-centric and insufficiently focused on other determinants of welling.

On April 4, 1951, he married Vaun Lavina Neas, at the Conway Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Vaun L. Boyd; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Paul, Ivan (Oba), Norman (Emma), and Ray; and three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Dorothy (John T) Shepherd, Mary (Woodson) Turner, and Anne Musgrave. George owned and operated several successful small businesses, was a salesman, contractor, and retired as a regional supervisor for the Missouri Department of Revenue.
