Georgiy Balyuk, a native of Ukraine born on July 22, 1999, moved to the United States at the age of three. He grew up in the suburbs north of Chicago and has settled in Canton, Georgia. He is nearing his second work anniversary as a software engineer at State Farm. This role leverages his interest in cloud scaling technologies, artificial intelligence, and neural networks.
He is pursuing a Master’s Degree in software development at DePaul University in Chicago, where he consistently ranks on the Dean's Board and anticipates graduating in the fall of 2025. His academic excellence complements his professional aspirations perfectly.
Before his current position, Georgiy Balyuk was employed at Fiserv Inc. in Alpharetta, Georgia, from August 2021 to April 2023. His role involved developing scalable applications using Java/Spring and microservice architecture, emphasizing best coding practices in a continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) environment. His focus areas included automation, supporting scalable pipelines, and facilitating swift deployments in the cloud.
Since April 2023, he has served as a software engineer at State Farm in Sandy Springs, Georgia. His responsibilities include designing and developing sophisticated solutions using AWS architecture to enhance system performance and scalability.
