Hi, I was thinking about buying a new watch that would withstand heavy use. G-Shock is well known, but I would be interested to hear about other watches that would withstand heavy use. All opinions are taken into account.🙂
SOTC Nov 2024 - Should I Consolidate?
#1 · Hello everyone. I have been collecting for a while now and feel that I have accumulated a solid collection of mid-tier pieces. However, recently I have been thinking about consolidating some of the collection that is not getting worn as frequently. The top row is really the core collection that get's the most wear. My Submariner and Omega Aqua Terra both have sentimental value and are worn regularly, so I am not considering moving either of those.
Omega Constellation from 1956 (circa) - Is this dial correct?
Dear all, I am hoping for your expertise to determine whether this dial on my Omega Constellation is original and ideally correct. The image google searches I have done so far always showed me crosshair dials with the line from the top continuing to the middle through the text, not interrupted as it ist here. Also, the top part of the line slightly goes through the "Omega" sigil. However, the watch is supposed to be from 1956, and this would be consistent with the spelling of "Chronometre".
Mixed bag overview and missing pieces - Thoughts appreciated
This is as much for myself helping me think by typing this "out loud", as it is asking for your much appreciated views and thoughts. While I am not currently really saving up to buy something, I think it is fun to see where the current stable stands, and what might fit in. For style, I am in my mid 40's, and tend to wear smart casual dress.
