Condensed Matter > Superconductivity
The Josephson diode effect (JDE) reflects symmetry breaking in the current-phase relation (CPR) of Josephson junctions, yet establishing its microscopic origin is often challenging. We investigate the mechanism of the JDE in van der Waals Josephson junctions based on FeTe0.55Se0.45, a platform where superconductivity, topology, and magnetism may coexist at the interface.

Condensed Matter > Strongly Correlated Electrons
Over the past decade, studies revisiting the classical charge-density-wave system 1T-TiSe$_2$, long understood to host the $2 \times 2$ triple-$q$ order with equivalent subcomponents, have suggested that these subcomponents may not be identical, challenging a 50-year-old paradigm. Here, we demonstrate not only that these subcomponents are non-identical but also that they develop sequentially rather than simultaneously.
Phase-sensitive signatures of time-reversal-symmetry-breaking superconductivity in magic-angle twisted trilayer graphene

Remote Moiré Modulation of Decoupled Dirac Subsystems in Twisted Trilayer Graphene
Moiré superlattices are generally assumed to act only at the interface where lattice mismatch or twist occurs. Here, we study charge transport in large-angle helical twisted trilayer graphene, where interlayer tunneling is strongly reduced. When only the top monolayer graphene is aligned with hBN, the electronic response reorganizes into a moiré-modulated monolayer and a remaining twisted bilayer graphene subsystem.

Developing the knowledge and library services researcher: A pilot project
INTRODUCTION Writing in 2008, Rossall et al. described the value of involving health librarians in the research activity of the NHS and the need to ensure they have the skills to contribute ‘at an effective and productive level’ (Rossall et al., 2008). This view was echoed by Kemp et al. (2019) who emphasis the value of ‘having a positive research culture within any profession … particularly in healthcare’.
The effect of backpack load on intersegmental motions of the foot and plantar pressure in individuals with mild flatfoot - Journal of Foot and Ankle Research
Study protocol This was a level III prospective case-control study. All study participants provided informed consent, and the study protocol was approved by our institutional review board. Forty-eight asymptomatic male volunteers between the ages of 20 and 28 years, considered as candidates for active military duty, were locally recruited.
Steady Floquet–Andreev states in graphene Josephson junctions - Nature
Abstract Engineering quantum states through light–matter interaction has created a paradigm in condensed-matter physics. A representative example is the Floquet–Bloch state, which is generated by time-periodically driving the Bloch wavefunctions in crystals. Previous attempts to realize such states in condensed-matter systems have been limited by the transient nature of the Floquet states produced by optical pulses1,2,3, which masks the universal properties of non-equilibrium physics.
Comparison of the kinematics, repeatability, and reproducibility of five different multi-segment foot models - Journal of Foot and Ankle Research
Abstract Background Multi-segment foot models (MFMs) for assessing three-dimensional segmental foot motions are calculated via various analytical methods. Although validation studies have already been conducted, we cannot compare their results because the experimental environments in previous studies were different from each other. This study aims to compare the kinematics, repeatability, and reproducibility of five MFMs in the same experimental conditions.
Colossal angular magnetoresistance in ferrimagnetic nodal-line semiconductors - Nature
Abstract Efficient magnetic control of electronic conduction is at the heart of spintronic functionality for memory and logic applications1,2. Magnets with topological band crossings serve as a good material platform for such control, because their topological band degeneracy can be readily tuned by spin configurations, dramatically modulating electronic conduction3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10.
