Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Yes, I was the editor of my high school newspaper at Liceo Tito Livio — my first experience of a newsroom.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I am most proud of the stories that take time — investigations that require access, trust and careful work with sources, often on sensitive or underreported issues.
Alongside this, I focus on deeply personal interviews, creating the conditions for people to open up and speak with honesty.
Some of my most relevant work has come from combining these two approaches.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Build a wide and reliable network of sources, and take the time to cultivate it.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Reading, listening to music — often live, in theatres — sharing a glass of wine with friends, and spending time with the people I love.
