Rick Becker’s Biography
I'm a husband, father of seven, nursing instructor, and religious educator. A Catholic convert by way of G.K. Chesterton and the Catholic Worker movement, I've studied theology at Evangelical institutions as well as Franciscan University of Steubenville, and I've worked in religious education at both the parish and diocesan levels.
My career path shifted from religious education to healthcare later in life, and I studied nursing at Bethel University in Indiana before receiving my RN license in 2000. I served as an oncology and hospice nurse before moving into my current role as a nurse educator. Currently I serve on the nursing faculty at Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana.
