Greer McNally’s Biography

I scribble about film for Time Out, TV and celebrity for Yahoo News, culture for AllBright and photography for Rangefinder among others. Career highlights include talking wives and war with Don McCullin over coffee, discovering Felicity Jones’ love of daredevil stunts and being the only interview with Rankin featured on his website for two years. I also know my way around branded content, after spending over a half a decade on the Virgin Media account at Redwood London. In a former life I was a 1st AD.

All in all, I've got over 15 years’ experience of writing, commissioning, and editing online and print copy for the domestic and international markets. I am skilled in strategically managing teams and budgets across different time zones, creating content strategies for ecom and third-sector clients, delivering client-facing copy, and troubleshooting content management systems.

When not writing you'll find me shooting events, portraits and weddings. I'm also a very bad surfer, an occasional birdwatcher, and have climbed Ben Nevis for the Haven House Children's Hospice.
