Wiosną 2022 baleriny będą w końcu w sam raz. Im bardziej minimalistyczne, tym lepiej. Nasz ideał wypatrzyłyśmy u polskiej marki L37. I to w aż 4 wersjach kolorystycznych.
Young people like me need to pay attention
Last week on my bimonthly drive to the grocery store, I looked out at the hundreds of houses that line the streets of my 15-minute commute. I imagined people inside their walls, protecting themselves and their community from the spread of the coronavirus as they cook meals, read and work from home (if they are lucky). Yet, as I drove by Patrick Smith Park and saw many young people huddled on the grass, laughing as they stood shoulder to shoulder, I was disheartened.
Terrace And the Great Bear Rainforest: A Skier’s Paradise?
Nestled in the far northern region of British Columbia, the small town of Terrace is a hidden gem. Incorporated in 1911, the town was settled along both banks of the mighty Skeena River and was primarily developed around the railroad that chugged through the valley. Surrounded by towering coastal mountains and deep within the Great Bear Rainforest, it embodies the quintessential scene that has so many people falling in love with the Pacific Northwest of North America.

Aug 09, 2018 By: Greta Brown Follow 0 0 0 0 0 Views 37,698 Comments 0 You know you're in Chile when you're on the chairlift, watching a volcanic eruption happen before your eyes. And skiers just keep skiing. Chile's beloved ski resort, Nevados de Chillán, is nestled up close to the Chillán Volcano, one of the country's most active volcanos. Beginning in July, there have been earthquakes and other seismic activity associated with explosions from the volcano.
Although marijuana can help those suffering from chronic pain, it can also be detrimental to developing brains - The Santa Fe New Mexican: Teen
It is both a plant and a drug, a recreation and a medication, and it is a substance weighed with both pros and cons in our society: marijuana. Some states have decided to legalize it while others have not. Marijuana, also known as weed, ganja, pot, etc., remains one of the most common illicit drugs in the country. In New Mexico alone, 28 percent of teens reported using marijuana in 2013, according to a statewide Youth Risk and Resiliency Survey.
‘Addams Family’ musical to hit Santa Fe Prep stage - The Santa Fe New Mexican: Teen
One wonders if, way back in the 1930s, cartoonist Charles Addams knew that his comic strip, featuring dark humor, morbid characters and a very abnormal family, would create such a compelling story that Americans today are still fascinated by what he wrought. The Addams Family had their debut as a cartoon strip in 1938, originally published in The New Yorker, serving as a macabre story embodying the polar opposite of the classic American family.
Don’t stress: There are lots of options - and support - no matter what you decide to do after high school - The Santa Fe New Mexican: Teen
Life after high school can offer a variety of paths for teens who are just entering adulthood. Most students attend college, some take gap years, some enter the workforce, some join the armed forces and some choose to do nothing at all. The stress of this transitional period can be immense. Several recent national surveys reported that teens are stressing out as much as — or even more so than — adults.
My View: Greta BrownSexts may be easy to send, but are they worth it? - The Santa Fe New Mexican: Teen
Teens today have been born and raised in the digital age. We turn to Siri if we want to know who won the most recent football playoff game, and we turn to Facebook when we are bored or when we feel uncomfortable in a real-life social situation. We seem to use our phones for everything, always wanting to be connected with each other instantaneously by the click of the “send” button. Yes, this accessibility to conversation is great, but is it really true, genuine communication?
Teachers we love: Generation Next honors those who go above and beyond - The Santa Fe New Mexican: Teen
Where would we be without our teachers? Each one acts as our second mother or father, our mentor, our protector and the person who teaches us much more about getting through life than just mastering algebra or science. We remember them decades after we leave school — but usually only their last names, as they were always “Mrs. Smith” or “Mr. Segura” to us for all those years.
My View: A call to stop unwarranted labeling of people - The Santa Fe New Mexican: Teen
Fear. Misunderstanding. Resistance to accept. Resistance to learn. Currently, there are a lot of bad feelings regarding and targeting the Muslim community — especially following the Paris terrorist attacks, the Syrian refugee crisis and heated debate about gun control laws after the San Bernardino, Calif., shooting. The presence of fear in America has promoted the growth of prejudice and incorrect labeling among some people.

My View: The pitfalls of social media dependency - The Santa Fe New Mexican: Teen
A few weeks ago, I watched a CNN special called #Being13: Inside the Secret World of Teens, which looked at the impact social media has on young teens. There was a young girl who seemed addicted to her phone to such an extent that when her parents took it away from her, she cried and screamed for hours because she felt a piece of herself was missing. Do not get me wrong: I love posting photos on my Instagram account, most often of Santa Fe landscapes, family and friends.
