Which fence paint do you recommend?
Hi, I recently moved house, and for the first time, I have a garden fence to paint. Which brand/type is well recommended, please (I’m looking in the cheap-ish to Mid-range bracket, and not the super expensive stuff that I’ve seen like £40 a tub)? For example, I’m looking at the Ronseal stuff which gets very mixed reviews on B&Q’s site. Is there actually any difference to quality between the dearer lasting “5 years” types to the more regular 1-2 years? Thanks!
Mountain bikes, talk to me.
I'm looking to get into biking, im a big lad, 6ft 2 and weighty but I've recently lost 3 stone and looking to further my fitness journey. I currently have a heavy decathlon rockrider, I've not used it for about 5 years and it's been sat outside so needs new cables, chain etc so I thought screw it, I'll get a second hand decent bike. I've been looking at the Carrera Hellcat and the one pictured below, both are around £280 used but very good condition, it's a Scott Scale 750, any advice please?
#1 Some help here please, I've recently bought an S24 ultra so I'm trying to trade in or sell my 256gb S24 onyx black. Went to carphone warehouse, the lad didn't have a clue and due the marks on the anodised outer rim caused by the case he valued it at £50 spoke to someone else there who valued it at £175 but had it marked down as non working, utter joke. The phone and marks are below, apart from the black rubbed off that one side it's mint.

Cleaning astroturf?
Any suggestions without breaking the bank?I've seen these lawn brushes that look like a lawn mower, generally about £150ish but today I used an old Dyson that was in the garage to hoover the grass, it kinda worked. What do you use?
Anyone into watches? Is this Rolex real?
#1 I've had this watch for probably 30 plus years, it's apparently a 1985 Rolex 18039b “tridor presidential". It's seen a lot of wear over the years and my only glimmer of hope that it's real is that it was given to my grandad a long time ago by a family member in London who used to make intricate model cars and watches and then passed onto myself, I'll include some pictures but like I said, not a clue....
What app to monitor childs phone usage?
We are an all Android family and have been using family link to monitor my daughters phone usage however for Christmas she got a new iphone, family link no longer works, I've tried life360 and although it's great for location unless you pay £9.99pm it does nothing else. Am I best off selling my Galaxy S24 and going iphone?

Samsung Q60D or Hisense?
Decided to upgrade our 43" hisense TV that was recommended to us by people here, it's still a great TV but we want to go bigger. I've narrowed it down to a Samsung Q60D 50" by my own research or Hisense mini LED, I'm here to ask the experts, budget is no more that £500ish.
Car selling sites, anyone used them?
You know the likes of car wow, motorway, cazoo etc. I usually just trade my car in for the next one but I'm somewhat disappointed with trade in values. I have a very well cared for 2015 Passat GT, it wants for nothing, full service history, premium brand matching tyres, new brakes all round, its immaculate on 61,500 miles. We are looking for something bigger like a Ford S-Max, the dealership offered me 7.5k in part exchange, car wow say 9.3k, motorway 8.5k.
Any way to get a VIN from a registration number?
I'm looking to buy quite a high spec Ford S-Max but I need the VIN to see the original build sheet to view what extras it has.
New xbox nightmare.
I bought a factory reconditioned Xbox series S for my daughter's birthday from the moment we turned it on we realized games were laggy Glitchy and sometimes freezing to the point where it will take two to three minutes for it to go back to the dashboard, we have reset the console multiple times back to factory settings and still the same issue.
Car insurance, what a minefield.
#1 My car insurance is due on the 19th, I've been with Hastings direct for donkeys years but my renewal has for some unexpected reason jumped from £240 to over £500! I'm 44 with over twenty years no claims, own my home, married with 2 kids, never had an accident, do less than 8000 miles a year and the car is at home all day (2015 VW Passat GT) What gives?
Help removing BT phone socket
#1 Looking for advice, I'm going to decorate my hallway and staircase this week, there's a master socket at the bottom of the stairs and an unsightly cable running up the stairs, around a number of doors then into whats soon to be my youngest bedroom, whats the best way to remove it without screwing up my phone and Internet? Are you sending your kids back to school in June?
#1 Ive had various responses to this question, even seen twitter post from our childrens head teacher but whats your theory on this strange situation? Personally Ive kept my kids safe for the last 9 weeks, I know they wont distance themselves from friends at school so why risk it, right? Patio/Driveway paint.
#1 We moved late last year, the shed was knackered so I've taken it down today and pressure washed the base underneath, the plan is to use that area in the evening as it's a nice sun trap but I want to paint it grey to match current pation area, can anyone recommend some outdoor patio paint? Whisky drinkers? Which is best?
#1 I'm not a whisky drinker myself but I'm looking to buy a bottle as a gift for my parents at Christmas, they usually have a tipple of your everyday brands (bells, grants etc). My budget is upto £40 for a decent bottle, any advice? #2 At the budget a nice Malt whiskey would be good. Best is all subjective, I like some whiskey/malts but not others that my father in law loves. Best is hard to define. Personal favourites include Bowmore, Dalwhinnie, Bruichladdich, Highland Park, Bunnahabhain.
