What was your first job as a journalist?

My first job as a journalist was a reporter in La Linea, a Mexican weekly from the California border in the early 1990s.

How is social media changing news?

Social networks are an open window for journalism. That forces us to be better and better journalists.

MacKenzie McHale from the Tv series The Newsroom.

I don't remember.

What's your favorite social network?

All social networks make journalism powerful.

Why did you become a journalist?

Investigate what others want to hide.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

Disappeared from the Morgue, a report at large of femicides in Juarez.

ProPublica is a media that inspires me. Media in Spanish, eldiario.es
