Rolliworks repair.. A little before and after of my 1979 Jubilee (62510H)
Total time on the repair was 11 days from when I shipped it out to them until I got it back. Before: After: To say I'm happy would be an understatement... The cost was 1/5 the price of a new service bracelet, and I keep the watch original to its 1979 roots. They even offer a polishing scale from 0-10.. I picked a 5, which was listed as "Freshened up a bit but vintage" to match the rest of the watch. 5 out of 5 stars.

I know of Roliworks, but who else is good at repairing vintage bracelet stretch?
There are some folks in some of the FB groups that do repins. I’ve used only Rolliworks for repairs and wouldn’t go anywhere else. However, I’d get a quote 1st. It may be cheaper to buy another 62610H on eBay and sell yours. I’ve seen them for ~$400 but it might take time to find a good one that matches your watch year.
Need to have my Black Bay serviced. My daughter's Boyfriend lives across the street from the Rolex Service bldg in Dallas. Can I just drop it by next time I'm there to visit, or do I have to have it sent from an AD? And while I'm asking, do they do tours? We would both love to see the workings if possible. Thanks.
Pelagos Ultra scarcity.
Hi, I can’t seem to find any AD in the Bay Area who has any in stock. Has any of you had any luck securing one lately? Thx.
1967 Silver 36mm Rolex Oyster Perpetual 1018
$3,999.00 Check price Austin, Texas Rolex’s larger 36mm Oyster Perpetual with low production from the mid 1960s till late 1980s. It’s very similar to the 1016 Explorer and 1019 Milgauss of the era but a lot more affordable. It’s likely early 1967 and case back is stamped IV/66. The 1570 movement runs well and was last serviced by Rolex in 2021. The dial and hands are Rolex service replacements. It has wear marks on metal parts and the acrylic crystal.
Oyster Perpetual info request
I know far too little about Rolex, and yes, I have advised having I’d serviced by authorized first. For now just trying to cut through all the internet clutter. Thanks Yep, sounds like I’m making it up, but this is true. Healing a friend whose father passed away. He left this Oyster perpetual (not running) and search as I may, I can’t find much on it. Especially the dial color. Stamped 14K, bracelet obviously folded links.
1984 Polar Rolex Explorer II 16550 with Service Warranty

Vintage Tudor cal 59 small seconds
Hi Can anyone please give me some information about this Tudor without a rose or shield on the dial.
GMT-Master II (Pepsi) > Looking for an aftermarket Jubilee bracelet
Hello ... I am new to this forum and have a question concerning my 2021 Rolex GMT-Master II watch bracelet.
Year 2025, is BB 79220 still consider collectible?
79220 Smiley discontinued since 2016, it’s been almost 10 years. In the past we have seen several evolution of Black Bay line. Newer movement, in-house movement, metas certified. Newer bezel, thinner case, smaller case (BB54), newer shield dial, new the newest twist is burgundy dial. Black bay really evolved. Several detail changes, BB from initial re-introduction from 2012 really is a different BB today.
Serviced 2014-17 Rolex Sea-Dweller SD4k 116600

It has a date but without the ugly cyclops on the crystal.

Prefer cash payment at a local Austin watchmaker. Will ship only within the US if paid via wire or Zelle.
1966 36mm Rolex Oyster Perpetual 1018
1018 is the larger 36mm version of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual and was a low production model from the mid 1960s till late 1980s. Similar to the 1016 Explorer and 1019 Milgauss of the era but a lot more affordable. Based on the serial number it’s from 1966 and case back is stamped IV/65. It has a 1560 movement that runs fine but there’s no service history. It has wear marks on metal parts and the acrylic crystal. Comes on a 1969 6251H folded link Jubilee with stretch that fits a ~7.5” wrist.
1998 Black Tudor Prince Date Chronograph 79280

1966/67 Rolex Submariner No Date Model 5513
152xxxx serial puts it late 66 and the case back has a IV67 stamp. Watch has wear marks on case, crystal, insert, bracelet, and case back. Pics represent condition well. Has a later glossy dial with dead lume but hands are still active and so is the pip which has cracks. I assume the bezel insert is later as well. Bracelet is late 90s U code solid link 93150 with 501B end inks and in pretty good shape. Watch only. US Bank wire payment only and ship only within the US.
1969 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date 34mm Model 1501
1969 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Model 1501 in a 34mm stainless steel case with a Rolex 1570 automatic movement. Watch functions as it should and runs a little fast but no service history. Nice silver sunburst dial with a light patina and some dial imperfection at the edge that you may need a loupe to see. Watch is in good shape but does have wear marks on the case, bezel, acrylic crystal, and bracelet that are consistent with its age. Please see the pictures as they represent the condition well.

Anyone else have both, or am I the only psycho?
#1 · #2 · Two of the same watch 🤔 No just you 😂 #3 · #4 · Yup. Just you. I’d have gone with a different dial color on the OP. Keep doing what makes you happy and don’t listen to anyone else.
Buying my first vintage Rolex
My AD called me about an “excellent condition” 1990 aluminum bezel sub they have available (I’ve been looking for one). I noticed the scratches on the rehaut and a fine scratch on the dial. Would you consider this to be in excellent condition for the age? They said it appears to have never been serviced. Would appreciate any feedback and opinions.
1964 Rolex ‘Pepsi’ GMT Master 1675
1.19 million serial number with a 1964 case back stamp. I’m told it has a MK5 1970s service dial. The hour markers and hands have a slight patina. It has a ‘blue back’ service bezel insert with marks. Bezel turn a bit easier than I’ve seen on others. It was serviced early 2023 by a local watch maker but was not polished. So case and bracelet show signs of wear and have been polished in the past. The acrylic crystal is Swiss aftermarket since Rolex no longer makes them.
Opinion send to Service or Local Watchmaker?
I have called one retailer and he said the standard procedure is to have it sent in to a service center and they'll appraise the damage/repairs. Unfortunately I live hours away from any large city so I'm kinda limited in who I could take it to in terms of a Tudor AD. Eh I know it's nice to have some character but I'd like the bezel back to the way it was previously.
