Actually, I started a school paper in junior high. Back when they used mimeograph machines to print them (ask your grandfather).
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Get a mentor. Learn a lot and laugh at their stories, but not at them. And build a fricking social media platform as soon as possible.
