Volunteer contributor on Terra Informa, CJSR 88.5 FM's environmental news magazine, based in Edmonton, Alta.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

Singing the songs of your city, province, state, country or wherever your readers are, and telling them the stories they need to live.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Star open-minded when you're approaching a story, and listen during an interview. Don't interrupt unless time is a factor, but follow up.

As soon as you've got it.

Yikes. No comment.

Everywhere I bring my computer, which is everywhere.
