What was your first job as a journalist?

I was the featured columnist of the year for the Chico-Enterprise Record in my junior year of high school.

Email, or social media DM.

Why did you become a journalist?

Watched the movie "Almost Famous" way too young. I truly had no other choice.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Be a sweetie, it counts for so much.

What's the best pitch you ever got?

To cover the creators of the 'Disney Vortex'. I had so many questions for them and they were so delightful to talk to.
