What was your first job as a journalist?
My first proper journalist job, was as a local news reporter. Which is a great foundation for learning.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
Being a journalist means being able to help, inform and inspire people.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Personally I like to have all information, images and prices in the pitch.
What's your favorite social network?
My favourite network by far is Instagram. Its so digestible, I can waste hours watching reels.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I worked as an editor at my university newspaper. I was in charge of sourcing and allocating stories.
When's the best time to pitch you?
I like morning pitches as I start before 9am, so I have a bit of time to burn before the morning meetings.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
I am most likely to be chasing after my children at a soft play or navigating through a supermarket.
