Being a journalist is to inform readers or audience members about occurrences in their community or environment in other to inform, educate, warn of teach them without embellishments.

How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I'd like the person pitching to have researched my background, pain points, and preferences. He / She should start with a strong, clear opening that summarizes the value of the proposal in not more than two paragraphs. Avoid long-winded introductions.
