Adaptive personalization for wearable non-invasive continuous glucose sensors
Abstract Accurate continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) is essential for diabetes management, yet non-invasive CGM remains challenging. Universal “one-sensor-fits-all” approaches often fail, because correlations between non-invasive physiological readouts and blood glucose (BG) are highly individualized.
Genetically informed dissection of multimodal brain aging and ten major psychiatric disorders
Abstract Brain age gap (BAG), defined as the deviation between neuroimaging-predicted brain age and chronological age, has emerged as an imaging-derived phenotype associated with psychiatric disorders. Although both BAG and psychiatric disorders are highly heritable, their shared genetic architecture has remained poorly understood.

Dissecting the shared genetic landscape of schizophrenia and hippocampal subfields: A genome-wide cross-trait analysis - Translational Psychiatry
Abstract Schizophrenia is associated with hippocampal volumetric changes, yet the genetic mechanisms linking schizophrenia to alterations in hippocampal volume and its subfields remain poorly understood. We analyzed the largest available GWAS summary statistics for schizophrenia (53,386 cases, 77,258 controls) and hippocampal volumetric traits (33,224 individuals).

Management of trigeminal neuralgia in a rat model using intranasal administration of Bulleyaconitine A
Trigeminal neuralgia (TN), characterized by severe facial pain triggered by mild stimuli, is challenging to treat effectively and non-invasively. Traditional treatments, including microvascular decompression and medications like carbamazepine, have limitations. This study investigates the potential of Bulleyaconitine A (BAA), an alkaloid that selectively inhibits specific sodium channels, for managing TN in a rat model via intranasal administration.
Comparative study of molecular beam epitaxy-deposited ZnS:O and CdS:O as electron-transporting materials in Sb2(S,Se)3 solar cells
Comparative study of molecular beam epitaxy-deposited ZnS:O and CdS:O as electron-transporting materials in Sb2(S,Se)3 solar cells Parasitic absorption and toxicity of cadmium sulfide (CdS) limit the efficiency improvement and future commercialization of thin-film solar cells, making it imperative to develop Cd-free electron-transporting materials.

Surface modification functionalized carbon dots
Carbon dots (CDs) smaller than 10 nm constitute a new type of fluorescent carbon-based nanomaterial. They have attracted much attention owing to their unique structures and excellent photoelectric properties. Primitive CDs usually comprise carbon and oxygen and are synthesized in one step from various natural products or synthetic organic compounds, usually via microwave or hydrothermal methods.
Zinc Chloride‐treated Indium Sulfide as Buffer Layer for Cd‐free Antimony Selenide Solar Cells
Abstract In2S3, as a promising environmentally benign semiconductor, has been used as a buffer layer in thin film solar cells due to its high electron mobility, low toxcity, excellent thermal and chemical stability. The preparation of high-quality In2S3 film is crucial for the improvement of its carrier extraction ability and subsequent deposition of absorber layers.

Innovations in the Solid‐State Fluorescence of Carbon Dots: Strategies, Optical Manipulations, and Applications
Carbon dots (CDs)—carbon nanoparticles smaller than 10 nm—have attracted widespread attention owing to their excellent optical properties. However, high-performing CDs often suffer from severe aggregation-induced quenching in the solid state, which limits their commercial applicability. Therefore, CD materials with efficient solid-state luminescence are sought.
Increased night-time oxidation over China despite widespread decrease across the globe - Nature Geoscience
Abstract Nitrogen oxides (NOx = NO + NO2) emitted from combustion and natural sources are reactive gases that regulate the composition of Earth’s atmosphere. Nocturnal oxidation driven by nitrate radicals is an important but poorly understood process in atmospheric chemistry, affecting the lifetimes of NOx and ozone and particulate pollution levels.
Deep learning-based computer-aided heart sound analysis in children with left-to-right shunt congenital heart disease
Highlights • Delayed diagnosis of congenital heart disease (CHD) can lead to a series of irreversible complications and, eventually, death. • RCRnet model based on deep learning can preliminarily identify specific types of left-to-right shunt CHD and improve screening detection rate. • The diagnostic effect of RCRnet model is better than that of cardiovascular physicians with over 10 years of clinical auscultation experience.
