Wake interference of tandem slender bodies at low angles of attack
The flow over a slender body at low angles of attack generates concentrated vortical structures in the wake, which inevitably interfere with the hydrodynamics of a trailing body. This work elucidates the evolution of vortices shed from the leading body moving at low angles of attack (<6.3∘) and their influence on the trailing body through numerical and experimental approaches.
Single vector hydrophone DOA estimation via bearing-inner-product accumulation and adaptive bearing threshold
Abstract Traditional single vector hydrophone direction-finding methods suffer from accuracy limitations under low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and strong interference. The Conventional Statistical (CS) method is easily overwhelmed by strong noise, while the Weighted Statistical (WS) method has poor robustness against narrowband interference. This paper proposes a method combining Bearing-Inner-Product Accumulation (BIPA) with adaptive bearing threshold constraints.
Reconstructing subsurface temperature fields from single-point time series: a metric learning approach in the South China Sea
Abstract Subsurface ocean observations remain severely limited in spatial coverage due to the high cost and operational difficulty of in-situ deployment. Although moored buoys and profiling floats enable continuous, minute-level sampling at fixed locations, the temporal evolution information they record is largely underutilized in existing frameworks—where point measurements are typically reduced to daily means or treated as static interpolation nodes.

Precise bearing estimation for weak targets with a single vector hydrophone under strong interference
Abstract Single-vector hydrophones face challenges in estimating weak moving target bearings under strong interference. This study introduces a method combining square-root cubature Kalman filtering with adaptive bearing interval constraints. Square-root cubature Kalman filtering optimizes initial bearing estimates, while adaptive bearing intervals together with a Gaussian window suppress directional interference.

Subjective aging and psychological well-being in older adults: a narrative review and multilevel framework integrating perceptual, behavioral, and sociocultural pathways
Abstract As the global population ages, understanding the psychological determinants of well-being in later life has become an important public health priority. A growing body of evidence suggests that how older adults experience, interpret, and evaluate their own aging—the domain of subjective aging—shapes psychological well-being.

Resting-state brain network alterations in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis using functional near-infrared spectroscopy
Background Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis (AIS) is a common spinal deformity arising during adolescence, a critical period for brain development. Although most AIS analyses predominantly focus on spinal or behavioral aspects, it remains unclear what brain functional alteration is associated with AIS. This gap in knowledge impedes a holistic understanding of the condition’s pathophysiology.

Study on the relationship between buyer market power, spatial spillover effect, and profit in China's pharmaceutical industry
1 Introduction Buyer power refers to the market power possessed by the buyer in a market transaction. Galbraith (1) expressed the buyer power for the first time as the market power owned by the buyer, being able to countervail with the manufacturer. He believed that when the seller occupies a dominant position in the industrial chain, the buyer can rely on the counterbalance power to pass on the cost savings to consumers, finally reducing the product price and improving consumer welfare.

Scmaskgan: masked multi-scale CNN and attention-enhanced GAN for scRNA-seq dropout imputation - BMC Bioinformatics
The primary objective of data imputation is to construct a “gold standard” dataset by rectifying false zeros introduced by technical noise, thereby accurately recovering the true expression levels of genes. In this process, genes that are genuinely unexpressed remain as true zeros. To mitigate the impact of zero values on computational analyses, minimal non-zero values are assigned to lowly expressed genes, while the expression levels of highly expressed genes remain largely unaffected.
