Located in Fitzroy, Victoria, Mygunya by The Circus by Matt Gibson Architecture + Design is a family home filled with character and texture. Split into three separate pavilions that softly connect to each other, the residence offers a wealth of natural light and textures that add extra nuances to internal features. Located just across the road from Edinburgh Gardens, Mygunya by the Circus is situated amid an array of Victorian and Edwardian buildings.
Removed from the busyness of Fitzroy, an inner-urban suburb of Melbourne where the home resides, stepping into Sunday makes one feel as though they are entering a sanctuary. Architecture architecture partners with Brickworks to create a layered home that offers a range of intimate, social and comforting spaces under the one roof. The client put forth interesting architectural reference points for the renovation.
