‘It’s free money’: Evergreen student employees use AI to write training dialogues
Three current and two former Evergreen student employees who have worked in writing training dialogues have been given pseudonyms so they may speak candidly about their experiences. Quinn, Charlie, Olivia and Rebecca said they used AI to write dialogues as project assistants. Georgia, who was a content reviewer for Evergreen, said she did not use generative AI in her work. Quinn, Charlie and Olivia are still employed by Evergreen; Rebecca and Georgia said they voluntarily left the project.

However, when that rare moment strikes and one craves a hot chocolate, nothing in the world can quite surpass this drink.
Dartmouth reacts as Democrats sweep state elections across east coast
On Tuesday, Democrats took home several major east coast election wins, including the mayoral race in New York City and gubernatorial elections in Virginia and New Jersey. Entering the New York City mayoral race relatively unknown, Democratic nominee and self-identified democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani garnered 50.4% of the vote, compared to former Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s 41.6%.
New Hampshire sees ‘noticeable decline’ in Canadian visitors during fall tourism season
Historic drought brings ‘ancillary benefits’ in the form of pleasant fall weather and earlier foliage, however. With the changing of the leaves typically comes an abundance of “leaf-peeping” tourists to the Upper Valley, typically one of the busiest times of the year for local businesses.
