A Quest for the Best Frango Assado in Portugal's Algarve
I feel a rush of nostalgia as I cut through the crispy, bronzed skin of freshly grilled chicken into the succulent flesh below and take my first coveted bite. As the seasoned forkful coats my tongue, I realise that our quest to find the best Churrasqueira in the Algarve has once again been rewarded by the savoury delights of this bustling eatery.
Inside Donald Judd’s SoHo Apartment
On the corner of Spring Street, and Mercer Street in Manhattan sits an absolute marvel of New York City architecture. The five-story cast-iron building, built in 1870, was the residence and studio of the monumental American artist Donald Judd. He purchased the former factory in 1968, when artists began flocking to SoHo for the abundant cheap real estate, and lived and worked there until the end of his life in 1994.
Meet the graduate who's making waves
By Hayley Clark ITC and Study From Home are special education providers for many reasons. One of those reasons is because we care about our students so much that we stay in touch long after they graduate. Sometimes we hear from graduates who blow us away with their success. One example is Annie Shields, who’s working two part-time jobs for Weta Workshop as a tour guide and for AJ Hackett at the Bridge Bungy. We had to get in touch and learn more about her amazing journey so far.

11 Room Divider Ideas That Add Texture and Function to Your Space
Room dividers have an old, luxurious origin story: They were created for use in the palaces of ancient Chinese royalty. Some of the earliest room dividers have been dated back to 200 BCE. While they were originally ornate and heavy objects of distinction, today they have taken on a wider range of functions and style—though they’re still glamorous.
How Camilla Deterre Designed Casino, Manhattan's Coolest New Restaurant - Air Mail
In the world of restaurants, there is a difference between a hot spot and an institution. Restaurateurs in New York City are in constant competition to achieve the latter. There are many elements to consider, but among the most important are longevity and devoted regulars. A common quality across institutions: distinctive interior design. PIN–UP | THE STORY OF SUPERHOUSE, STEPHEN MARKOS'S CHINATOWN GALLERY FOR CONTEMPORARY DESIGN
Stephen Markos Wants Collectible Design to Transform Your Life by Hayley J. Clark In March 2023, under the Manhattan Bridge, tucked away on the second floor of an East Broadway mall, a small bright spot was filled with chairs that looked frozen in a state of contortion, lamps resembling plants and fungi, and a mirror with an unsettling ouroboric frame.
Future Funky
For many years, Gaetano Pesce was a beloved but sectarian figure within the design world—a visionary supported by a small circle of loyal patrons and institutions. But in recent years he has become something of a celebrity. The furniture and homewares for which he is best known are often described as “goofy” and “wacky,” an aesthetic that is now synonymous with a resistance to the tyrannical minimalism that characterized so-called good taste for the first twenty years of the twenty-first century.
Errands - Columbia Journal
Today at work I walked in on Sarah in the work bathroom adjusting her outfit in the full-length mirror, she jumped when I opened the door. I found myself thinking less of her, even less than normal. It’s not that I don’t tug at my hair and smudge my makeup in the bathroom, it was that she flinched and smiled sheepishly at me in the reflection. Once she regained her composure she asked if I was coming later, it’s her birthday party tonight.
The Ultrafragola Mirror Has Been Duped to Death
In recent years, totems of fashionable taste have cycled out, as they tend to do. Terrazzo coasters and breasted pottery have receded from the fore; Petra Collins’s GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS pink neon signs, once everywhere, have all but disappeared entirely. But even as all the rest of the rosy lights have started to fade, there is one that prevails: the Ultrafragola mirror.
