What was your first job as a journalist?
I began working in games journalism as a reviewer and features writer for a small site.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes. I am that old.
Why did you become a journalist?
I love writing and I love gaming, so it's the perfect match. My role as an editor and trainer also allows me to mentor and guide others.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
In the car with my kid on the way to college belting out musicals at top volume, although only one of us sings well and it isn't me.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That Evergreen is boring. It's the lifeblood of a site and it takes skill to write true Evergreen content.
