Helga Vízer’s Biography
I graduated with a degree in Communication and Humanities from the University of West Hungary, and since then, I’ve been passionately working in the world of journalism. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the chance to explore various media platforms. I started as an editor-reporter at Komárom City Television, then became a lead journalist at 24 Óra. Later, I found my place at the Budapest-based Axel Springer publishing house, where I truly fell in love with the world of online content creation. Currently, I work as the managing editor of kiskegyed.hu, and I’m proud that, together with my team, we’ve turned the site into Hungary’s leading online women’s magazine in just one year.
Journalism is my passion
To me, online journalism is not just a job—it’s a form of freedom. I love how the content I create becomes visible immediately and how quickly I can respond to current events. Through feedback, I can maintain a constant dialogue with readers and draw fresh ideas from their comments. Creating multimedia content—like videos and podcasts—is an exciting challenge that allows me to bring stories even closer to the audience.
Me, as a private person
I love cooking and trying out new recipes, especially when I get to surprise my family or friends with them. I’m passionate about dogs—spending time with my four-legged companion is one of my favorite ways to relax. Playing with my children, going on nature walks, and doing sports all play an important role in my life. I enjoy discovering new places, and I especially love early mornings in a foreign city, when the first rays of sunlight illuminate the streets.
Fashion and beauty are also close to my heart—I'm always interested in how we can express ourselves with style and creativity. Whenever I have time, I dive into books or discover new series. I’m inspired by learning and continuous growth, whether it’s deepening my professional knowledge or exploring a new hobby.
Hobbies and interests
In my free time, running, gardening, and photography help me relax and recharge. Being in nature always calms and inspires me, as it’s where I truly find harmony. My life motto is that every day holds a new opportunity—you just have to find it and enjoy it!
