The trial is designed as a placebo-controlled study with a 1:1 randomization rate between tadalafil and placebo. As we test the feasibility of daily tadalafil treatment in patients with cerebral small vessel disease and its effect on cerebrovascular and cognitive outcomes, placebo treatment was chosen as a comparator. The intervention is a daily intake of tadalafil 20 mg or placebo together with guideline medication for approximately 3 months.
Study setting Patients will be recruited during their admission at the Stroke Units of three participating University Hospitals of the Capital Region of Denmark (Region Hovedstaden): Copenhagen University Hospital Herlev and Gentofte, Copenhagen University Hospital Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen University Hospital Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg. Recruitment started in August 2022.
To explore nurses’ and nurse assistants’ beliefs, attitudes, and actions related to their function in an inpatient stroke rehabilitation unit. Several attempts have been made to describe nurses’ roles and functions in inpatient neurorehabilitation. However, current understandings of the contributions that nurses and nurse assistants make to neurorehabilitation remain sparse.
