Hetal Vyas’s Biography
Hetal Vyas has over 30 years of project management experience in manufacturing. He studied at Michigan State University, focusing on Business Management with extra supply chain and leadership courses. Hetal was active in university groups, which helped him become a well-rounded project manager.
He started his career at General Motors, spending 12 years there. Hetal learned much about leading projects and teams, especially engineering and finance. A mentor, John F. Smith Jr., played a big part in his early career.
In 2002, Hetal moved to Whirlpool as a senior project manager. His job involved handling big projects, focusing on keeping things safe, and following the rules. He became good at working with different teams and ensuring projects ran smoothly.
Then, in 2010, Hetal joined Magna International as a Senior Data Manager. He worked on improving processes, cutting costs, and ensuring projects stayed on track. His practical way of solving problems helped him succeed.
Since 2017, Hetal has been working at Bosch in Farmington Hills, Michigan, as a Project Manager. He focuses on safety and compliance, leading projects from start to finish. His approach to problem-solving and commitment to doing things well have made him a key player at Bosch.
Hetal loves mentoring young professionals and sharing his manufacturing knowledge outside of work. He's also a big reader, keeping up with the latest in his field. Hetal believes in balancing work and life, spending time with his family, and running marathons, like in Kalamazoo, New York City, and Boston. For Hetal, running marathons shows how determination and hard work pay off in all parts of life, from education to career.
