Clare Brown

Clare Brown is the founder of Homeschool of 1 and Weird Holidays, where she creates no-prep learning tools and printable activities for kids in grades K–8.

She designs over 1,000 worksheets, games, and interactive generators used by teachers, homeschoolers, and families who need quick, flexible activities that work in real-life settings. Her resources are built to be used immediately, whether for full lessons, early finishers, or independent learning.

Originally from the UK, Clare began homeschooling her son in 2017 after finding that traditional schooling didn’t meet his needs. What started as a way to support his learning quickly grew into a broader focus on creating practical, easy-to-use educational content.

Clare is also the author of Teach and Celebrate the Year, a book featuring 118 days of seasonal learning ideas designed to make it easier to incorporate themed activities into everyday teaching.

Her work spans math, literacy, science, and seasonal learning, with a strong emphasis on simple, structured activities that fit into busy routines. In addition to her websites, she maintains a shop and membership library offering extended resources and bundled content.

Her work has been featured on MSN, Parade, and Motherly, and is used by a wide audience across both homeschool and classroom environments.
