Electrocatalytic fixation of CO2 is an effective method for chemical valorization of carbon dioxide, which could be readily achieved under mild conditions. (1) Among the various possible electrocatalytic processes, the electrochemical activation of benzyl halides and subsequent carbon dioxide fixation is considered a green and promising method for the synthesis of crucial carboxylic acid derivatives with a wide range of applications ranging from pharmaceutics to fuel production.

2. Case Presentation Case 1 A 23-year-old unmarried woman with no history of coitus came to the Gastroenterology department presenting with acute-onset cramping pain of the left lower abdomen. The patient was referred to the Gynecology department after undergoing an abdominopelvic CT scan, during which one of our radiologists reported “uterus didelphys or bicornuate uterus with left par-ovarian or ovarian cyst” (Figure 1a).
