I was interested to discover this site and can add a little to the account of the well blessing there since 1990. When I was Vicar of Leeds and Broomfield (1984-93), the retired county archivist, Allen Grove, who used to play the organ at Broomfield, brought the 1507 reference to St Margaret's Well to my attention.

The Megalithic Portal and Megalith Map:
An event was held on Saturday 29 April 2017 in Penparcau to celebrate new and exciting findings about Pen Dinas Hill Fort. ?The two-day ‘never been done before’ geophysical survey took place on 5 and 6 April this year, by a team of archaeologists from Archaeology Wales, Trysor and a number of local people from the Penparcau Community Forum. The survey shows that much more archaeology survives within the hillfort than can be seen on the surface, increasing the archaeological potential of the site.
The Megalithic Portal and Megalith Map:
These walks run daily from the 6-21 September at 11am, meeting outside the Visitor Centre at Birling Gap. Come and see the archaeologists in action, take a tour of the trenches with one of our volunteers, examine the finds and learn more about this special and historic landscape. The hilltop enclosure of Belle Tout remains an archaeological enigma. Elements of the site have been dated at various ages from Neolithic to Medieval.
