FlightAware Dropped Its Lawsuit Against Kalshi After Just One Day
Pavel1964/Shutterstock FlightAware, the flight tracking company that sued Kalshi earlier this week, has apparently had a change of heart, Reuters reports. A day after it filed its lawsuit claiming the prediction market platform was using flight data to run a gambling market, FlightAware withdrew it, voluntarily dismissing the case "without prejudice against all defendants." Engadget has contacted FlightAware and Kalshi to comment on the case. We'll update this article if we hear back.

Framework, maker of deliberately repairable and upgradeable computers, has notified all of its customers that their data was exposed in a breach. According to an email the company sent late Thursday, August 6, customer names, login IPs, addresses, phone numbers and emails were accessed during a hack of the company's business database provider Metabase. The new lawsuit follows several state-level legal challenges against Kalshi in the US, including in Nevada and Arizona.
