Yeah!! I was born in 1977, not in the 1990s.

In a lot of ways, but the most significant is probably the fact that EVERYONE on social media is now practically a journo

An educator of the unenlightened. A purveyor of truth. The voice for the oppressed.

I can't think of any presently

I'd prefer to be pitched with all the basics of the story, including contacts where necessary

Why did you become a journalist?
I have always loved the idea of passing information to people, and getting them enlightened, even back in my days in high school.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
My high school didn't have a newspaper, but we had a press club, and I was for a time in charge of putting up bulletins on the notice board.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
My Dec 2014 piece 'Neglected after shedding blood, sweat and tears for nation' which focused on the plight of Nigeria's physically challenged
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Stand for the truth at all times and follow your heart.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Anytime during the day in my timezone (Lagos, Nigeria)
What's the best pitch you ever got?
Too many to mention a specific one presently
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
A usually reliable source told me the president of the Nigerian FA was operating an illegal account, only to discover it was someone else
