Introduction We are a collective of Latin American scholars and activists working simultaneously in North America (Turtle Island) and Latin America (Abya Yala).1 Through this collaboration, we aim to generate honest, situated conversations about the potential intersections between different anticolonial and antiracist traditions in both geographies. Particularly, we address the framework of “internal colonialism” defined by activists and scholars based in Abya Yala.
