What was your first job as a journalist?
My first job as a journalist was interviewing the writer and frontman Lias Saoudi for Legs McNeil and Gillian McCain's site Please Kill Me.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
One of the stories I'm most proud of working on was a tribute to the Angeleno writer Eve Babitz, written shortly after she passed away.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
When I'm not working at a computer, I'm usually writing in the library, out hiking, or traveling.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
I love anything and everything written by Amanda Petrusich.
