What was your first job as a journalist?
My first job as a journalist was at DailyCoin! One of the world's fastest-growing crypto news outlet.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Nope. Typewriters went out of fashion when I was born.
How is social media changing news?
Social media is shortening the attention span of its users, and inturn, their tolerance of reading material. They now want quick news.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Clark Kent.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
To be a journalist is to deliver value to readers by educating, informing, and engaging them by accurately covering all sides of a story.
What's the funniest news-related #hashtag you've seen?
I don't particularly remember.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I am open to all pitches as long as they are connected to what I cover, the crypto space.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I use google docs, twitter, google news, and my trusty old wireless mechanical keyboard with cherry mx brown keys.
What's your favorite social network?
Twitter.

Why did you become a journalist?
I became a journalist so I can propel the mass adoption of the crypto space and educate readers on technically complex concepts.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
No, I did not.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
One story I am most proud of writing or working on is the solutions journalism article I wrote about a Cardano proposal, CIP-1694.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
To add their personality and own flare into their writing.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Any time.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
The best pitch I've got is to cover a crypto conference in Paris, but unfortunately, I couldn't go.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
To write about a music video as a crypto writer. I know, it's weird.
What's your favorite drink?
There are too many, and change from season to season. Right now, I'm all for Lassi!
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Playing football/soccer with my friends.

Probably Decrypt.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That modern-day journalism is copywriting and paraphrasing.
