The elephant in the room when it comes to Vivint is cost. Let’s take on this issue directly. Yes, Vivint is a pricey system. You’ll pay more for Vivint equipment than you’ll pay for any other mainstream home security system on the market. Monthly monitoring costs aren’t outrageous, but they are at the top end of the market. Raw numbers don’t tell the whole story when it comes to Vivint, though. The real question is how much value Vivint delivers for its price.
