What does it mean to be a journalist?
A journalist is someone who's obsessed with research, devoted to credibility, and committed reporting all perspectives equally.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I use Google Workspace — Docs, Sheets, and Slides — Surfer SEO, Shutterstock, Pixabay, Google Trends, and Answer the Public.
What's your favorite social network?
I'd have to say TikTok. Typically, it's unfiltered, authentic, and real. I wish the comments section was justa bit longer, though.
Why did you become a journalist?
I love telling stories and seeing the world through different perspectives. Personally, I think empathy could save the world.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Love research, cite your sources, and never take anything at face value.
What's your favorite drink?
There is nothing in the world quite like a chestunt praline breve.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
I'm most likely at a cafe, restaurant, or Farmers market.

Probably Epicurious, Perfect Daily Grind, Bon Appetit, and Serious Eats.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That it's easy. Good food and coffee takes time and effort.
