Who Will Be Better In 2026? Carlton or Essendon?
#1 I thought this might make for a good thread, both teams are rivals but have been poor on field for most of the last two decades etc. They both (the Bombers in particular) had issues with injuries affecting some of their most important players in the season just gone as well.
Do You Have A Second Team?
#15 2nd team? I find the idea of a 2nd team just plain nonsense. I had a soft spot for Fitzroy because my junior football team had similar colours to the Roys, but overall i follow Geelong through good and bad and i don't care who wins or loses other games.
Carlton or Richmond. Which club has more supporters?
#16 There were recent years when even my cats had more members than both these clubs. That should never happen but did. Large in number but shows they aren’t that passionate unless winning, unlike more loyal fan bases in pies and Bombers. Since covid there has only been 2 clubs not to increase memberships. They are Hawks and of course Richmond.
2024 Grand Final Predictions?

Banter - Who will be better in 2024? Carlton or Collingwood?
The Wobblers have done well to finish top of the table- and it comes to nothing when they lose to Melbourne in their 'qualifying final'... meanwhile the Blues get a nice littel warm up for the players coming back from injury against Shitney - who had to be (literally) grafted into the eight. Setting up a nice FU scenario game the following week - with teh inevitable- when it matters result for the Blues.
