Stumbled into journalism by way of humor writing. Ended up in rural North Central Ohio so I could be close to the rivers I love and away from the cities I hate. Working for a pittance to hold me over from canoe trip to canoe trip. Canoeing's answer to a ski bum. One day I'll throw my shit in my canoe on the Mohican River and forget to stop. Maybe I'll visit my folks in Florida when I reach the Gulf.
