There’s a lot of noise when it comes to how AI is being discussed in home health right now. I want to give you a framework I use internally to cut through that noise and make things make sense. There are four flavors of AI to understand: assistants, copilots, AI baked into features like patient risk models, and agentic systems. And right now, a lot of vendors are using the language of the fourth to describe what is actually the first or second.
