How is social media changing news?
I think that it's giving us more perspectives to the stories that we're covering and also pushing us to fact-check even more than before

Sloane Sabbith from The Newsroom, I wish I could be her (especially when it comes to understanding economics!)
What does it mean to be a journalist?
To be a public servant and to inform.

Adobe Audition, WordPress, CyberNews wire and Canva
What's your favorite social network?
Used to be Twitter and long ago was Tumblr, but now I think it is TikTok!
Who do you wish followed you?
Bad Bunny, because I like his music and he also doesn't follow anyone, so it'd be a definite ego-boost if I was his only follow
Why did you become a journalist?
Hurricane Maria. Being a freshman in college and seeing the coverage dwindle fired up my passion for the field as a civic duty.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
The revelation of the trashing of important historical records from Father Fernando Pico by the municipality of Utuado
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Never give up, because informing the public is the greatest service you'll ever provide. The pay sometimes may be low, but it's all worth it.
What's your favorite drink?
Currently it's coquito, since Christmas is coming up. Puerto Ricans perfected eggnog just by switching milk for coconut milk, it's the best!
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
At the movies or in my room, reading a good book
