Previously, I worked as a professional horse trainer and equestrian, where I managed my own business developing equine and human athletes for international-level competitions.

After deciding to pursue my love of the arts in 2009, I took a strong interest in documentary photography and journalism. I dove headfirst into a columnist position at Axis Magazine, a print publication with a monthly circulation of over 25,000. Here, I honed essential reporting, researching, and editorial skills, providing a solid foundation for my journalism career.
