Dr. Ivor Ellul currently serves as founder and managing director of CiSK Ventures, a consulting company delivering expertise to energy companies in the areas of Collaboration, Innovation, Solutions, and Knowledge. In 1999, he founded Knowledge Reservoir, a Houston, Texas-based firm providing expertise in oil and gas exploration and production, management consulting, and pipeline simulation. He served as its chairman and chief executive officer until its merger with RPS in 2013. Having accumulated more than 30 years of management experience in executive positions at other oil-and-gas-focused services and consulting firms, Dr. Ivor Ellul devotes his time to leveraging his extensive industry background to bring a high level of expertise to his clients.
Dr. Ellul spent his early childhood in Khartoum, Sudan before returning to his birthplace of Malta in the early 1960s. Graduating in 1980 with honors from the University of Malta, he earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He would eventually travel to London to earn a master’s degree and a doctor of philosophy from Imperial College.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Ivor Ellul has committed himself to service activities promoting education within communities that have needs. He has helped provide homes for senior citizens, sponsored orphanages, and volunteered to teach children with the Sisters of Charity in Palermo, Sicily.
