Corporal Punishment on an 18 year old student
1 I had a case come up that is indirectly related to the thread title, and it got me thinking. Can schools legally use corporal punishment on a high school senior who has already reached the age of 18? It is not my intention to debate the wider questions of the propriety of corporal punishment. We have done plenty of those threads. However, the state of the law is, and has been for a long time, that a defense to a battery charge is reasonable corporal punishment on a child.

I have a friend who worked as an escort for several years. Seeing as many mid-range prostitutes (in US cities anyway) make around $250-350 per hour, I’d think you would only have to see maybe a few guys a week to make a decent living. Which isn’t that much sex, even if it is all PIV- I’m sure a lot of people in the world have just as much if not more sex per week (say, 3-5x a week?) So, yeah. 300 dollars times 3 guys = 900 bucks per week, and keep in mind that is usually all tax free.

There’s like 30,000 main characters that I’m supposed to give a crap about. It’s too many! The first episode, we see the butch girl playing cards and I’m like “awesome, she’s so cool. I can’t wait to watch her do stuff.” Then, we’re introduced to the seductive girl, long haired guy, the black girl, breast cancer woman, breast cancer woman’s assistant, possibly-Hispanic man, Asian girl, white pilot, white mechanic, etc. I refer to these people like this because I have no idea what their names are.
Why do Koreans bury kimchi pots?
9 Quick question. I keep buying jars of “Korea Kimchi” at my local asian grocer, eating half of it and then losing it in the back of the fridge. By the time I find it again, it is 3 or 4 months later. :smack: How long does kimchi last in the fridge? That’s really a matter of personal taste. Old kimchii has a very strong taste - some people actually prefer it well-aged. It doesn’t go “bad” if that’s what you mean.
