Teetering On The Brink Of Consolidation
I took the first step today. At our local chapter of the NAWCC, I took my pocket watches and my Hamiltons. Sold two of my pocket watches with wind indicators, and one Hamilton that was one that didn't really belong in the collection anyway (but was no less a great looking watch). No regrets so far, but it has only been a matter of hours.
What is your opinion of Seiko?
Classic Seiko5 is my jam. When I started buying them they were the bargain leader while today they are considered overpriced compared to Chinese Factory brand "Spec Monsters". While they do have deficits (bracelets & crystals) they are little tanks that absorb any abuse and continue working. Some of them look stellar too. SNK803 - banging away since 2015: here @ work and here, last year after a swim The cream dial soaks up any crystal scratches, they disappear at arms length.

Discussion starter · #25 · 2d ago *not pictured is the loyal G Shock Mudman GW-9300-1JF... Not a great quality pic but: Arranged in chronological order in terms of when I obtained each watch. (Bottom right watch is my gf's) All we need now is all of your addresses. Asking for a friend, thanks.
